システム科学技術学部経営システム工学科の松下 慎也教授［数理アナリシス講座、専門：数理工学］が、オーストラリア数学会が刊行している専門誌「Bulletin of the Australian Mathematical Society」誌に発表した論文が、「The 2023 Mahoney-Neumann-Room Prize」の候補に選ばれました。

　The Mahoney-Neumann-Room Prizeは、過去6年間にオーストラリア数学会の専門誌（2023年度の選考対象誌はBulletin of the Australian Mathematical Society）に掲載された論文の中で最も独創的で優れた研究に贈られる賞で、賞の名称は3つの専門誌（the Journal of the Australian Mathematical Society, the Bulletin of the Australian Mathematical Society, the ANZIAM Journal）の創刊編集者にちなんで名付けられています。

　専門誌の編集長から構成される選考委員会によって、候補論文6編の中から1編に賞が授与されます。
