Feature of the laboratory
1) Fulfilling research work
Many machine tools and measuring machine can be used and experimental systems made by thierselves. Therefore, through the research works, product manufacturing can be learned. Additionally, there are lot of chances for conference presentation.

2) Richness of international flavor
There are lot of researchers and students from abroad. Especially, information of globally advanced machining technology can be gotten from them.

3) Cooperation with outside organizations
Collaborative works with some companies have been carried out aggressively. Advanced technology of outside of university can be learned.

4) Positive note in the laboratory
There are many event, for example, welcome party, sport festival and so on. The laboratory is positive note because of being in good society between seniors and juniors.

5) Graduate school
The research works can be carried out deeper and deeper at graduate school. Therefore, becoming researcher of overseas (after doctor course) or good engineer of fantastic companies (after master course).

Research activities



Achieving aims of research works as mentioned above, we approach main three themes as follows:
1) Ultra precision machining using magnetic field.
2) Ultrasonic vibration assisted high efficiency machining.
3) High precision and efficienecy cutting using micro tools.
