At present, not mere "thing-making" but "thing-making based on system thinking" is being looked for. The Special Research Facilities offers "thing-making" learning experience, which will make the students acquire an extensive system sense through the interchange among departments, making use of the features of the university, free flow among departments, and enhancing students' fcreativity.

Research themes are "a solar car and a robot", "an intelligence robot and virtual reality", "living environment and a climate" and "thing-making on human-being first principle". Through researches mentioned above, students will acquire, not to speak of the basics of "thing-making" and the real phases applicable in various industries, but research technique based on system thinking and experience live "thing-making".
